This time of the year is the best for walks in the park through multi colored leaves.. even better when accompanied by your boyfriend, a good book, and a warm seasonal drink (umm, pumpkin spice and apple cider season? yes please.) This is also the best time of year to go for long drives and take in all the views of the leaves changing colors! I took full advantage of being outside of New York City this weekend and did just that.

I’m excited this week marks the annual CMJ Music Marathon. Even though I work 5 days a week and won’t be able to make all the shows I’d like to see, It’s a good feeling knowing that a lot of talented indie bands are getting out there and being heard. One band in particular, Born Ruffians, is playing a free show on Saturday that I’m stoked about. If you haven’t heard them before, check out this acoustic video of lead singer Luke Lalonde. Such a talented band.
