Sometimes I forget to highlight the true NYC lifestyle outfits. Ya know, the real Brooklyn girl style. The girl who’s running errands on the weekend and jumping from subway to subway to market to local cafe to laundry mat to happy hour and not the girl in sky high platforms or heels taking a cab to and from an event. Granted, there is nothing wrong with either life style (I like to think I live a healthy mix of both) But a casual weekend outfit is pretty much when I feel most comfortable and most in my style.

While running around in loose fitting layers and my hair thrown up I like to add subtle girly/sexy touches. A side slit up a maxi skirt and cut out booties are the perfect way to show a little skin while still being super casual and comfortable running around.. and of course, adding a red lip! x
