Day 5, NYFW: I had to go with a classic, double denim. I tried out some new layers and fabrics, though. A longer top and a loose fit pant, to be exact. While I’d usually wear this shirt as a mini dress with some thigh high black boots, I figured let’s layer (since, ya know.. it IS winter..) and pair it with a matching denim pant. Going for comfort this season, I had to obviously pull out the high top chucks and layer over my favorite leather jacket. It’s funny how some girls feel the most confident in a sexy dress, or something that shows off their body to others, and somehow with me, give me a potato sack or the least sexy style of clothing, and that’s what I feel the most confident in. Strange, I know. I guess that it is just the result dressing for yourself; not dressing to impress men, or to even impress or show off to women. Simply wearing something because you think it’s cool, or you like how you look in it. The only way to live, my friends. The only way.
