I have to say, this is probably one of my personal favorite outfits of mine recently and you guys seemed to REALLY love this jacket on my Instagram! Vintage tee, distressed denim, faux fur statement piece, vintage Chanel bag, little black cap, and my new favorite little black boots.. Honestly, I’d wear this everyday If I could.
I’ve gotten a lot of DMs asking about the fit of Grlfrnd Denim jeans. Since they are a higher price point, you want to make sure they’re worth it (I totally get that!) I own two pairs.. one blue denim and these black distressed ones. You can see how the blue denim fit here, here and here. I usually wear a 28, and both pairs are a 28 but wearing the black ones for the first time yesterday, I found them a drop big compared to the way the blue denim fit me a few months ago during NYFW. I know I lost a little weight, so I’m going to say it’s because of that as to why they’re a bit loose on me. If I bought them now, I think I would try a 27. The distressing is perfect and the placement of the back rip I’m low key OBSESSED with. I always try to do that to my vintage denim, but because vintage denim doesn’t tend to hug your body like new jeans do, the rip never falls perfectly (like these!) One more thing about this look: the boots. I recently was introduced to this brand and fell in love. While there are so many pairs I want from Alias Mae, I went with a classic black chelsea boot for my first pair because I wanted a pair I could wear with anything and everything. They scored a 10/10 on my perfect little black boot scale. Just sayin.
