The weekend is looked forward to for many obvious reasons.
The most common reason shared by tons of New Yorkers?
Brunch.
This past Sunday I rolled out of bed and threw on some clothes to meet my friend Hannah to do just that. I found myself not thinking about getting dressed- just doing it. So naturally, when I finished sliding on my classic black Steve madden booties I looked in the mirror and was not surprised. Harley tee, vintage belt, fedora, black mini, and my go to Rebecca MInkoff bag. My style and taste ranges but I feel like this would be one of my “signature looks”. There’s nothing really trendy or current about it; it’s just what I’ve always loved (no, seriously.. I’ve had this shirt since I was 15.)
What I’m Wearing:
Vintage DIY Harley tee from Salvation Army | Mini skirt from H&M | Bra from Moschino | Belt from No Relation Vintage | Bag c/o Rebecca Minkoff | Boots by Steve Madden
The tee I found at Salvation Army years ago and cut it into a halter that ties on the side. I went through phases over the past few years of loving what I did to it and regretting it. Clearly, I’m back to loving it! Since I own so many vintage tee’s it’s cool to experiment with different ways to alter them so change up your look.
