It’s officially been one whole work week spent cooped up in my Brooklyn apartment with little cable or internet. While I did get to enjoy a lot of movies, snacks, and candle lit naps with my boyfriend.. you can stay my cabin fever (yes, it’s ironic that my apartment happens to also look like the inside of a cabin haha) has fully kicked in… and to be honest, I’m dying to be running around New York City again. I never thought I’d miss taking the subway and the freedom to roam around as much as I have this week.
Since this week was spent mostly catching up on good records, movies, and bottles of wine.. my one and only place I could really go to get out was coffee runs. Thankfully, the cafe a few blocks away from my apartment has the best vanilla soy lattes one could ask for anddd had working internet! Helloooo, heaven! These two things helped me keep my sanity day to day during the power outage.
It’s been getting really cold here in New York but I’m just not ready for that winter coat (okay, so I’m never really ready for a winter coat. period.) So, naturally, I’ve just been layering up a bunch!
What I’m Wearing: Vintage tee I bought in from this gnarly dude while working as a buyer- one of my favorite tees | White fringe cardigan from Beacons Closet (get the look here) | Oversized eagle jean jacket from a flea market upstate | Vintage skirt | Brown leather Nine West boots (get the look here) | Vintage Chanel bag from ShopWasteland | Brown leather necklace from Love and Leather (get the look here) | Vintage rings
