This month when my loves at The Zoe Report asked me to create an exclusive DIY for them, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. The past few months I’ve noticed ostrich feathers on e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g… and I can’t lie, I’m pretty obsessed. I love the idea of wearing a vintage crew neck sweater with a full ostrich mini skirt, or how I paired a vintage tee with the ostrich trim blazer.. Mixing a casual edge with a dramatic elegance.
What I’m Wearing: DIY vintaged blazer designed and made by yours truly (this project is exclusive to The Zoe Report, so keep posted to see the step by steps posted this month!) | Vintage Def Leopard tee | Black pleather skirt from Lulus (get the skirt here) | Tights from Hanes Hosiery | Marc Jacobs black leather booties (get the look here) | Rebecca Minkoff MAC bag (get the look here) | Jewels by Karen London
When it comes to DIYing, the options are really endless. These 3 pieces have inspired me for some more awesome ostrich creations! Whether you love them enough to just buy them, or are the more creative type and would rather recreate the look yourself- there’s no doubt these products are worth swooning over.
