Seems the season is bringing a few new changes with the weather. While it’s been years since I’ve posed next to a school bus, it’s also been a while since I’ve been spotted without a hat or my signature black winged eyeliner and red lips. So while making my jacket choice lighter, I’ve also been making my makeup choices the same. The sun has been warming down on us here in New York City this past week and I couldn’t be happier. Summer, I can feel you sneaking up!

During Fashion Week the lovely people at Diesel sent me a pair of their black skinny jeans from their new Skinzee Collection along with a invite to their black and gold show. (Which was out of this world. Black, leather, studs.. basically everything that I’d like to wear 24/7.. plus they played Marilyn Manson during the walk. Uh.. perfect much?) Okay, now back to how perfect these jeans are. I’m a sucker for black skinny jeans. They’re probably the one bottom I wear most (and with everything) so I am a firm believer that 1. everyone needs a pair and 2. they are a investment piece so pick a pair with a perfect fit and great quality- don’t look at the price. Quality over quantity, always.
I’m currently wearing this Vanessa Mooney piece with e v e r y t h i n g. You can wear as a bracelet, tie it around your favorite pair of boots for a little edge, or do what I personally can’t wait to do come the warm weather.. and tie it around your arm as a arm band.
