It’s the New York state of mind in me to get up in the morning, try on a ton of clothes, and end up looking in the mirror and seeing all black.. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with layering on black, but I think adding a little pop of color can make the perfect statement in that situation. So I switched out my go to black booties and opted for a pop of red in my shoes!

My favorite pieces of clothing are obviously authentic vintage tee’s. My collection of tees (and leather jackets) are by far the most important pieces in my closet that I could n e v e r do without. This one in particular happens to be in my top 5 favorite. It’s seriously the most perfect worn out, paper thin, shirt you could only dream of. It has so much history and love in it that I just have the most amazing vibe when it’s on me.
When wearing all black, I like to make sure I add some statement color. I opted for gold tone jewels rather than silver to add a pop along with my bright red summer Modern Vice shoes! I can’t wait to wear them in the summer with little vintage mini dresses and knee high socks. (totally a whole new look than this, but can’t you see it?)
