Believe it or not, this was my first year going to Governors Ball Music Festival. If you don’t know what it is, it’s a 3 day music festival held on Randalls Island in New York City. Every morning and night we took the ferry from 35th st to the island. It was PACKED. I think actually all 3 days sold out. Everyone was dressed to impressed in their best festival outfits, ready to day drink and boogie to music all day and night. I’m not one for being too typical with a flower crown and a little boho dress, so I went this lace up bodysuit and mini skirt for day 2 of the festival. I was super comfortable all day and threw on my vintage army jacket covered in my favorite vintage pins when the sun set and it got a bit chilly out.

I’ve always been more of a small venue type of girl when it comes to shows and seeing bands that I love. For that reason, I never really cared too much for going to festivals. I can now say, I’m totally in. I love them. Coachella, SXSW, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, etc.. Sign me up.
