I’m all about creating a wardrobe that’s full of quality basics. There’s nothing better then a large selection of basics you can mix, match, and effortlessly layer. Not to mention, a great investment, since basics are almost always timeless pieces. Every winter I wait for the new black leather moto jackets to come out from Miss Selfridge. It’s been about 3 years now since I’ve started my collection, and I have maybe 6 or 7 at the moment. (This one I’m wearing is from their current collection.) I’m a huge fan of their leather collection in general, but a girl can never have too many leather moto jackets! With that being an obvious staple of mine, another obvious one is high rise black skinny jeans. I’ve had a few pairs I’d buy from fast fashion stores and they’d pretty much fall apart in a few months. Since this is such a huge part of my everyday wear, it’s SO important to buy quality that will last for years to come *cough cough* Citizens Of Humanity *cough cough* And to finish off my outfit of basics, a crisp white collar shirt. It’s important to have one for any type of business meeting that may come up, but more importantly, it’s good to have one to layer under a leather moto jacket. Duh.
