Knits on knits on knits. That’s what the winter is all about; layering. I love the texture of a huge knit scarf over a cable knit sweater. It was oddly warm this day, but if I wanted to add a little pop of print or some extra warmth, I’d layer a plaid button down shirt under the cropped cable knit sweater, letting the collars and bottom half be exposed. I love how you can create so many different looks by mixing and matching layers. If you think it’s too cold for ripped knees, try layering a pair of fun plaid tight under them or, for a grungy look, try a pair of fishnets! If those are too bold for your taste, stick to a simple sheer pair that will add warmth without changing the look at all! Seriously, I could talk all day about layering, so I’ll stop now!
